NCS/EEG

NCS (Nerve Conduction Study) and EEG (Electroencephalography) are specialized neurological tests used to assess the functioning of the nervous system.

NCS measures how well and how fast electrical signals travel through the nerves. It is commonly used to detect nerve damage or conditions such as neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, and nerve compression disorders.

EEG records the brain’s electrical activity using small electrodes placed on the scalp. It helps in diagnosing conditions like epilepsy, seizures, sleep disorders, brain injuries, and other neurological abnormalities.

Both NCS and EEG are non-invasive, safe, and painless procedures that provide valuable information to doctors for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning of nerve and brain-related conditions.
